PTA Minutes 12/12/07 CAREER FAIR- Kim and Erin wrote thank-you notes to all the presenters for the career fair.  Students and presenters filled out feedback forms on the career fair and how to improve for next year. The feedback was positive and there were some good ideas for next year’s fair. International Holiday Fair: PTA purchased a picture for each elementary student -the picture the students took with Santa during the fair. PTA will write a note to send home with the picture. For Sean-we will make a basket of cookies and christmas goodies for helping out as Santa during the International Holiday Fair. Toni wrote thank-you notes to the participants of the fair. She will send a note about the fair to Chi-Chi to put in the Connection. We would like to have participants from other countries as well for next year. PTA FUNDRAISER: We are thinking about doing a PTA cookbook.   T-SHIRTS: Toni will talk with the lady from BATT about ordering 60 t-shirts (20 small, 20 medium, 20 large) in womens’ sizes-black with rhinestone letters “ACS”. We will sell for 80Bs. Erin will send a sample of an ‘Property of ACS ATHLETICS’ for Toni to show to the BATT people. We will see how the t-shirts sell and see ALUMNI EVENT-There will be an Alumni Event on December 20, 2007 at Capotraste at 7pm. The price is 125Bs if you purchase in advance. At the door the price is 135Bs. COOKING CLASS- PTA is  thinking of organizing at Liliana Lopez’s house the last week of January. PROJECTS FOR 2008- *PTA cookbooks *T-shirts, mugs, pencils, etc. *Teacher Appreciation Day *Communication Committee with work with the Alumni to start an Alumni Association *Silent Auction for a fund-raiser *Open House for school to promote January-cooking class, cookbook, starting up store!
